ABOUT ME
Kaelan.
I am left-handed.
I am curious about how the world works.
Whenever I have a question in my mind I must investigate it until I find some interesting results.
In indo-european cultures, left-handedness is the opposite of “right”: it is by default wrong, weak, or evil. For instance, “sinister” means “left” in latin. If you are right(-handed), you are right.
Is this also true in other cultures, i.e. a fairly generic human assumption, or is this specific to our own language roots?
I became curious one day after reading a 3,000-year-old-poem written in in an Early Semitic Language, that referred to “the right hand of God.”
Are you curious too? Here is my path of discovery. Check out what I found!
